Why did you apply for a summer internship at Borregaard?
I was interested in gaining experience and knowledge in a field I could see myself working in. In that sense, Borregaard was very relevant for me.
Did you use your competence?
The project I worked on was within biopolymers, and I extensively utilised my expertise in polymer technology and material properties. Guidance throughout the summer was always available, and as important as the knowledge I brought with me was the knowledge I acquired during the summer.
What is your overall impression of Borregaard?
I have an incredibly positive impression of the company, and especially all the people I met during my internship. I got the impression that Borregaard is highly committed to green research and innovation, which is very important to me as I aspire to work in product development towards the sustainable transition.
Is Borregaard an interesting workplace for you?
Yes, Borregaard is definitely an interesting and relevant workplace for me, both in terms of the chemistry field and the great working environment that I really enjoyed. Throughout the summer, I encountered nothing but smiles and helping hands from all directions, which plays a significant role in enjoying a job.
Would you recommend others to work at Borregaard?
Yes, if you are interested in working for a company that values you and your education in addressing tomorrow's challenges, I strongly recommend working at Borregaard. I learned a tremendous amount that I have found useful later in my studies, something I am very grateful for. If you are interested in an educational job where you meet many interesting people, a summer internship at Borregaard is highly recommended.
