Borregaard came top in the category "small and medium-sized companies" for the third time and has also won "open class" in the past. The company scores highly on corporate governance, environment, clear and long-term strategy (incl. market information and industrial development) and availability of key personnel/company visits.
The award is based on direct input from brokers, institutional and private investors. The actors are asked to propose relevant candidates for each category and answer a market survey based on a list of criteria from Finance Society Norway's Stockman committee, which chooses a winner.
The Stockman award has been awarded for over thirty years to the listed company in Norway that is best at continuously informing financial circles and shareholders about its operations, and that publishes the best annual and interim reports based on the best financial analytical principles.
Aker BP won this year's award for open class and Kongsberg Gruppen received the award for best IR team.
