Gisle Løhre Johansen

Gisle Løhre Johansen (born 1959), Executive Vice President (EVP), Speciality Cellulose and Fine Chemicals

Gisle Løhre Johansen has been with Borregaard since 1991 and became a member of the Group Executive Management in 1999.

Prior to his current position Mr Johansen served as SVP of Business Development/R&D (2007-2019), EVP of Borregaard Synthesis (Fine Chemicals) (2013-present), as well as various roles including Site Manager at the Sarpsborg biorefinery (1999–2007) and Site Director of Borregaard Schweiz (2006–2007).

Mr Johansen holds a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway.
