Exilva Temperature Stability
Tests in our laboratory demonstrate the robustness of Exilva® over a wide temperature range. Compared to other rheology modifiers, Exilva shows great stability in water-based systems with varying temperature. Its rheological properties remain consistent from room temperature to nearing the boiling point.
Results show that Exilva when used in water-based systems as a rheology modifier and stabiliser, can maintain its performance within a wide temperature range, from room temperature to nearing the boiling point.
Compared to other additives that typically lose viscosity with temperature increase, Exilva has a unique advantage. The results show that the viscosity profile remains stable from 10°C to 90°C.
Key takeaways:
- Exilva is robust and compatible over a wide temperature range.
- Exilva can be used as a rheology additive to maintain stability and homogeneity in formulations that experience significant temperature fluctuations.
- Exilva is an environmentally friendly biodegradable rheology modifier.
