Plant-based protein is an essential source of amino acids for ruminants. However, the majority of this valuable protein is broken down far too early in the digestive system to be fully utilised for milk and meat production.
Our bypass protein products SoyPass, RaPass, amipro and SoyPreme overcome this problem by protecting the protein while in the rumen, but allowing it to be digested within the small intestine. Consequently, a better utilisation of the essential amino acids occurs, resulting in improved milk and meat production.
