How to apply Dustex for dust control
Learn how to apply Dustex® for gravel roads and other dust control applications. The product is sustainable, robust, cost-effective and easy to use.
General guidelines on how to apply Dustex for dust suppression on roads:
- You can apply Dustex, preferably in the spring, when the road still holds some moisture. If the road material is too dry, pre-watering will improve the final result.
- Use a road grader to level the road and create a good profile. The freshly graded surface will improve the penetration of Dustex into the road
- Use a water cart equipped with a pump and spray bar for application of Dustex
- Allow Dustex to penetrate the road surface before allowing regular traffic
