Laboratory Work for Improved Zinc Leaching with Pionera Biopolymer
A series of laboratory and pilot plant evaluations in autoclave leaching were conducted with plant provided zinc ore concentrate and plant provided sulfuric acid.
Conditions from the plant were replicated in the autoclave to achieve simulated leaches. This included oxygen levels, acid levels and leach temperature and times.
Results were determined with Zn analyses via atomic adsorption of the pregnant leach solution and tails to assess recovery.
