Interior coatings

Tinting of paints can cause viscosity instability after the universal colours have been introduced to the paint base.

Paint systems with Borregaard's Exilva® rheology modifiers do not show any practical viscosity drop compared to other water-soluble rheology alternatives. Exilva also ensures the same rheological properties of the paint before and after tinting. You'll experience an increasingly reliable and stable paint viscosity in storage as well as during application, regardless of the application of tinting colours.

In addition, our products offer the following benefits in interior coatings

  • Mud-crack resistance
  • Prevents viscosity loss on tinting
  • Anti-sagging and good levelling
  • Anti-settling
  • Improved open-time
  • Improved scrub-resistance
  • Reduced tackiness
