Bulletin: Soft focus effect

Exilva® has proven effect on soft focus.

To verify the potential of Exilva MFC as an ingredient with Soft Focus Effect, a pilot study was conducted comparing the effect of Exilva in a skin care product to that of an inorganic material claimed to be a mattifying agent. This was carried out using Image Evaluation by a well-known German institute.

Pictures of users of the two products with and without Exilva were rated on the mattifying effect on the skin as well as based on other parameters such as "even skin tone", "skin radiance" and "attractiveness". The results show that Exilva has a mattifying effect on the skin.
