A sustainable future for resins

Borregaard bio-based additives are derived from renewable resources and can replace oil-based products. Consequently, our products are manufactured with a low carbon footprint.

Many of our products come with sustainability certifications. We use no formaldehyde in our resin and adhesive products. Consequently, our lignin and cellulose fibril products offer a more sustainable solution for phenol-formaldehyde, urea-formaldehyde, and no-added formaldehyde resin applications. Certification ensures higher sustainable content and lower petroleum content in each manufactured board.
