Borregaard Research Foundation

Borregaard Research Foundation distributes contributions and grants for forest research and occupational medicine research. The support is given in the form of a research grant, support for a master's thesis or as a research award.

Costs to be covered by the fund may include field experiments, lab experiments, surveys, travel costs and similar related to the contribution/thesis.

For 2025, support will only be granted for Master's theses

Applications with the necessary documentation should be sent electronically to forskningsfond@borregaard.com by 1st May 2025.

Costs that can be covered include, for example, field experiments, lab experiments, surveys, and travel expenses related to the Master's thesis. Support amounts of up to NOK 15,000 are anticipated.

The foundation was established 18 April 1952.

Of the fund capital's return, 2/3 should preferably be used to promote forest research. The remainder can be used to promote research on challenges related to occupational health.
